Fast Forward day 7

I have now completed a full week on Fast forward and I am now on the home run until weigh in on Wednesday. The weekend as proven to be quiet difficult for a few reasons. Firstly that I have had time to think about food, or lack of food. Secondly because I have done a fair bit of body magic so I have worked up an appetite and thirdly because the husband as been at home so I have had to think about food for both of us.

 

Despite a late night last night where we headed off to watch a local band (where I stayed on the diet coke!) it was an early start to the day today to spend the day in the Peak District. Breakfast was a few pieces of fruit. I love hill walking but it isn’t really something my hubby as ever done so this was his first experience. I usually I go out walking with my parents or friends. His first reaction when we parked up in Castleton was one of ‘seriously, you expect me to walk up that!’ You may have read my previous posts where I have mentioned that my hubby as recently put himself on a pre-holiday diet and joined a gym due to the holiday countdown so this was part of getting him involved in fitness activities. We had a fab day walking up Mam Tor and the surrounding area. A good 3.5 hours of body magic! Although the day started dry it started raining about half way through but we did not let that spoil our fun and even stopped to eat our lunches in the rain at the top of Mam Tor. We had plenty of fun walking and the hubby loved exploring the caves at Odlin mine. The best part…be enjoyed it and is up for doing it again 🙂

SAM_1056By the time we headed home in the late afternoon I really was feeling the hunger. I only had 9 units left on Fast Forward though so knew I couldn’t have anything. I did have an hot chocolate to warm up (1 unit). I tried to occupy myself whilst the hubby caught up on football. BY the time I tucked into tea (a low calorie curry micro meal with carrots and an apple) I was ready for it. So much so that I was still hungry when I finished. As I write this I am still quiet hungry and no units left so I can see an early night coming on. A week into Fast Forward I am starting to feel it now. I am trying to keep motivated by focusing on weigh day ad how much I really want to get to target. I am really hoping this as been worth it as I have really started struggling on this plan.
